class=\"slideshow-description\"><em>Not Reconciled<\/em> (Auszug)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Auf einer m\u00fchsamen und ernsthaften Suche nach einer Nadel im Heuhaufen, w\u00fcrden wir \u2013 zumal wenn es fraglich w\u00e4re, ob \u00fcberhaupt eine Nadel verborgen ist \u2013 letztlich doch eines kennenlernen: den Klang und die Sprache des Heues selbst. Und nach einer Weile w\u00fcrden wir nicht mehr nach der Nadel Ausschau halten, sondern vielmehr nach einer Botschaft des Heues und nach M\u00f6glichkeiten, diese zu dekodieren. Tsao spricht von den \u201eSpuren der Musik: dem Ger\u00e4usch von Fingern\u00e4geln, die gegen Saiten reiben, dem Rasseln der Schnarrsaiten einer Snare drum, dem Klappenger\u00e4usch einer Klarinette\u201c. All dies stellt musikalische Artefakte dar, \u00dcberreste, wenn man so will. Und wie bei jedem R\u00fcckstand \u2013 selbst dem der Historie, der Erinnerung \u2013, ist die Annahme ihrer Desorganisiertheit irref\u00fchrend: ihre Genauigkeit kennt kein Erbarmen. Die Aufgabe, die sich hier stellt, nicht anders als f\u00fcr Straub und Huillet in ihrem Film Nicht vers\u00f6hnt (Not Reconciled), ist, die angestrebte Genauigkeit in der Erfahrung des Werkes greifbar und nicht im geringsten willk\u00fcrlich zu gestalten. Indem sie sowohl Zeit, Tempo und Aktion blo\u00dflegen und von allem Zierrat entfernen, haben Filme die M\u00f6glichkeit, durch ihre nackte visuelle Sprache in Erscheinung zu treten. Als erstes erscheint Tsaos Herangehensweise subtil, aber auch pflichtbewusst prozesshaft, in der Folge ausdrucksvoll, aber auch geradezu minuti\u00f6s exklamatorisch; dies geschieht durch pedantisch genaue zeitliche Dehnung und Adjustierung, durch die prismatische Linse der lokalen Wiederholung und schlie\u00dflich durch die extreme und zugleich pr\u00e4zise getimte Aufbl\u00e4hung.
